Faultless DMX networking in Teatro Real, a major opera house located in Madrid, Spain, is secured by ArtLAN Pro, a network switch specifically crafted for the pro AV and entertainment lighting industry with embedded PoE to deliver power to other devices within the network. Behind interface networking to all connected fixtures in Teatro Real is Sundrax's ArtGates, DMX-Ethernet converters that support multiple protocols such as Art-Net, sACN, RTTrPL and KiNet, while extra Ethernet port provides additional switch functionality. ArtGate Pro is a smart Ethernet/DMX converter with merging and data backup functions. It is designed to control DMX512 based lighting equipment.ArtGate Pro supports DMX512, RDM (ANSI E1.20), ArtNet (1, 2, 3, 4), sCAN (Draft, Release), KiNet (v1, v2), RTTrPL and Ethernet based communication in a variety of signal receive/transfer combinations.The device can be powered (for redundancy purposes) either in parallel from 110/250 V mains or via PoE (Power over Ethernet according to IEEE 802.3af standard).Additional Ethernet equipment is connected via the integrated two-port 10/100/1000 Mbps switch with integrated media converter per SFP module. Two pass-through (TRUE) DMX ports are used for DMX communication. In case of emergency, the converter is equipped with a dual trigger input.The hardware can be configured via the web interface, ArtGate Setting utility, third-party software supporting the ArtNet protocol or ARISTO software.ArtGate Pro is designed for installation in a 19" rack. The height of the converter is 1U.

Splitter Pro is a single or double channel DMX512 interface splitter. It is designed to control DMX512 based lighting equipment.Splitter Pro supports DMX512, RDM (ANSI E1.20).&nbsp;Splitter distributes the signal from 1 or 3 inputs to 5, 8 or 10 outputs, using XLR connectors (3 or 5 pins) or EtherCON. The Splitter Pro's smart indication detects the presence of a DMX512 or RDM data in the channel.&nbsp;The unit is powered via 110/220 V mains.Splitter Pro is designed for installation in a 19" rack. The height of the converter is 1U.

DMX Splitters: Overview

ArtLAN Pro is a managed Ethernet switch, created for applications in the show industry. A feature of the network switch is the presence of 8 Ethernet ports with connectors etherCON operating at 10/100 /1000 Mbps, and two interfaces for SFP installation modules hardware / software optimized to work with protocols ArtNet (1,2,3,4), sACN (Draft, Release), KiNet (v1, v2), RTTrPL. Switch supports issuing IEEE 802.3af (Power over Ethernet (PoE)).&nbsp;To configure the equipment, you can use the built-in Web-interface or unique specially designed software ARISTO. The device is designed in a housing for installation in a 19-inch "rack" rack and can be used at positive temperatures indoors and in covered areas. The flexibility in the device is characterized by its compactness, low weight, small depth equal to 110 mm, the ability to install on a truss and the fact that the converter can only occupy one height (1U) in a 19 ”rack-mountable rack.
