National Theatre of Saint Charles
In the project implemented at the National Theatre of Saint Charles in Portugal, the ArtGate Pro was utilized. The ArtGate Pro is a rack-mountable device that serves as an Art-Net/sACN to DMX converter with up to eight optically isolated DMX ports and a built-in 2-port Ethernet switch.
The project aimed to upgrade the lighting control system at the National Theatre of Saint Charles, enabling more flexible and efficient management of lighting effects on the stage. The ArtGate Pro facilitated the conversion and distribution of Art-Net and sACN signals to various lighting fixtures through its DMX ports, which also provided optical isolation for enhanced interference protection.
The built-in 2-port Ethernet switch in the ArtGate Pro simplified the network infrastructure by allowing the connection of other devices and the expansion of the lighting control network.
By incorporating the ArtGate Pro into the project, the National Theatre of Saint Charles acquired a modern and reliable lighting control system that enables precise and flexible control of lighting effects on the stage, creating impressive visual experiences for the audience.
