Van Gogh Museum

Netherlands

A stage lighting project was implemented at the Van Gogh Museum in the Netherlands using a splitter. The "Splitter Pro" is a dual-zone professional DMX512 splitter/booster with optical isolation and RDM functionality that can be rack-mounted.

Thanks to the project utilizing the "Splitter Pro," the Van Gogh Museum has obtained a modern and reliable stage lighting system that contributes to creating impressive and visually captivating effects for museum visitors.

The objective of the project was to create an efficient and flexible lighting system for illuminating exhibits and creating an atmosphere in the museum. By using the "Splitter Pro," reliable transmission of DMX signals between the lighting fixtures and the control system was ensured.

The "Splitter Pro" features two independent zones, allowing for flexible control of the lighting in different parts of the museum. Optical isolation provides protection against interference and guarantees stable signal transmission, while the RDM (Remote Device Management) function enables remote control and configuration of the lighting fixtures.

Installing the "Splitter Pro" in a rack provides compactness and convenience in managing the lighting system. It efficiently distributes the DMX512 signal to various lighting fixtures and ensures the stable operation of the entire system.
